Turn on Speak and hear what you type, in the language of your keyboard. Big Keys can speak every key, every word, and every autocorrection, so silent changes never slip past you. Tap and hold a suggestion to hear it before you choose it, and deleted characters and words are spoken in a lower voice so you always know what changed. Choose the voice, speed, and volume. Speak works hand in hand with VoiceOver.

ABC LAYOUT (Premium)
Letter keys in alphabetical order, A to Z instead of QWERTY. Built with and for users who find letters faster in the order they learned them. Works in every Latin alphabet language, each with its own correct alphabet order.

CUSTOM KEY (Premium)
Pick any character and it becomes a real key beside the space bar, with the same animations, sounds and shift behavior as every other key.

EDIT BUTTON, YOUR CHOICE (Premium)
Decide where editing lives: keep the Edit key beside the space bar, hide it on the letters keyboard, or turn its actions into a bar of buttons above the suggestions. Show the bar always, or only when you swipe down.

SHORTKEYS: SEVERAL VALUES IN ONE GO
A new plus button on the recorder bar saves the value you typed and lets you start the next one right away. Each value is safe the moment you tap it, and the cancel button undoes just that session.

KEYBOARD HEIGHT (Premium)
Make the suggestion bar, the bottom row or the whole keyboard shorter, with portrait and landscape set separately. Your key text size is never changed.

SUPER DELETE
New option: when your text ends in spaces, one tap clears just the spaces. The next tap deletes as usual.

ICLOUD SYNC
Your shortkeys and learned words now follow you to every iPhone and iPad signed in to your Apple ID through your own private iCloud. Devices merge automatically: nothing lost, nothing duplicated, and we never see your data.

SHORTKEYS, REDESIGNED
Adding a shortkey now has its own recorder bar above the keyboard. Predictions and autocorrect help you while you fill in the value, every gesture and Speak works during recording, and your newest saved value becomes the default.

HOLD DURATION (Premium)
Keys type only when held for a time you choose quick brushes and accidental touches are ignored, with a ring on the key showing the countdown. Made for steadier, calmer typing.

SPEAK SENTENCES
End a sentence with a period, question mark or exclamation mark and hear the whole sentence read back.

BACKUP
Save your shortkeys and learned words to a file you keep, and restore them anywhere.

Plus: the math keypad's close button moved away from the number pad so it can't be pressed by accident, and many fixes throughout. 7.1 Aug 6 BIG KEYS 7.0: Type less. Delete smarter.

SHORTKEYS: Type a few letters, get a whole phrase. "omw" becomes "on my way", emojis included. Create one right on the keyboard: type a word and hold it. Hold a blue phrase to remove it.

ADVANCED DELETE: One key, three powers: tap to delete the last word, double-tap for the last sentence, hold to clear everything, with a strong vibration so you always know.

CAPS DISPLAY: Tap shift three times and everything, keys, suggestions, your text, shows in BIG CAPITALS that are easier to see.

MATH SYMBOLS: Open the number pad and a full panel of + − × ÷ % √ π appears beside it.

SMARTER TYPING

Next-word prediction: Big Keys now learns the words you use together and suggests what comes next — in every language you type. Build your common phrases tap by tap.
More accurate autocorrect: corrections now consider exactly where your finger landed on each key, so slips get fixed and the words you meant are left alone.
Automatic contraction fixes: "dont" becomes "don't", "im" becomes "I'm" — instantly.
Emoji suggestions (Premium): type "pizza" and the Pizza emoji appears right in your suggestion bar. Big Keys also learns your favorite emojis over time.

FASTER & MORE RELIABLE

The keyboard now appears noticeably faster when you start typing.
Reduced memory use, so the keyboard stays stable through long typing sessions.
Swipe gestures now respond with feedback everywhere on the keyboard — even between keys.

Quick Phrases: save phrases you use often and tap to insert them, straight from the edit button next to the space bar. Helpful for fast, easy communication. A premium feature.

Learned Words: correct a word once and Big Keys remembers it, so it will not autocorrect that word again. Learned words stay on your device only and are never synced. You can reset them anytime in the Big Keys app.
